Physical Therapy in Downtown Seattle

  Eli Zygmuntowicz, DPT

Eli Zygmuntowicz, DPT completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Puget Sound and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree there several years later.  He is currently in his second year of practice and continuing to learn new things everyday from experience and continuing education.

From his lifelong participation in sports and outdoor activities combined with an interest in healing and working with his hands, the physical therapy profession seemed to be a perfect fit for Eli. He is a people person with a strong science background and was intrigued by the combination of scientific information, personal interaction, and problem solving elements of the profession.

Eli is interested in treating sports and orthopedic injuries with a focus on a combination of manual therapy and targeted exercise to return patients to pain free function and meeting their goals.  He got an early exposure to the profession working as an Aide for the Core Physical Therapy Group prior to going to school and has now returned to become part of the team.

He is a member of the Physical Therapy Association of Washington, American Physical Therapy Association, and the APTA Sports and Orthopedics section. He has been an active participant in advocating for the profession with the state legislature.

“I am an active person who has many outdoor interests including running, cycling, soccer, hiking/backpacking, snowboarding, and many other activities. I worked many years as an independent glass artist and continue to pursue glass as a creative outlet.”
